The restored and expanded Debs Store, now known as The Corner at Debs Store, opened in the Summer of 2024. Its beloved market, operated by Goodwill provides affordable, healthy foods to neighbors. The new second floor features career and employment services through Goodwill, as well as ATM and financial services provided by VyStar Credit Union.
“Serving our community” – These words were aptly displayed at the bottom of the Debs Store calendar handed out to customers every year. This was a guiding principle for my grandparents, father and uncle and it remains such for the current partners of Debs Store. Today, we apply this model and allow the legacy to live on through revitalization in multiple neighborhoods and communities.
